We designed a 200-foot piece of public art in the heart of Sarasota.
Working alongside curator Tim Jaeger and Michael Saunders and Company, we developed the concept, naming, visual identity, and design for A Legacy in the Making — a public installation celebrating Sarasota's visual arts history from 1945 to 1965. A colorful mosaic framework that reads as art from a distance and as history up close.
The installation lives on the exterior windows of Michael Saunders and Company's downtown headquarters on Main Street, one of the city's highest-traffic corners. It spans three integrated LED panels, a companion website, and a concurrent exhibition at Ringling College. We designed the visual language that holds all three together.
