Working with curator Tim Jaeger and Michael Saunders & Company, we developed the concept, naming, language, and visual identity for A Legacy in the Making, a 200-foot public art installation celebrating Sarasota's visual arts history. We built it around a colorful mosaic tile design so it reads as a single piece of art from a distance and breaks into distinct stories up close.
We designed the visual language across all of it: the installation, the brochures, the naming, and the look and feel that ties the physical piece to the companion website and the Ringling College exhibition. It's not a logo and it's not a website. It's a piece of public culture, seen by thousands every week.
